At Dreams Society, we believe that children who are ill should have the same opportunity to
experience joy and happiness as all children. Indeed, the courage and patience that they
display, despite their pain and suffering, makes fulfilling their treasured dreams even more
special. Making a dream come true for a terminally or seriously ill child will not just
brighten their day but will create a lifelong memory they will always remember and will be a
gift that their parents and family will treasure forever. Dreams Society operates with
complete integrity and dependability to ensure that the child has an unforgettable
experience, and that the parents and family can share their joy.
The Dreams Society was formed in 2011 with the goal of bringing joy to children affected by
terminal illness or by a debilitating disease, by making their treasured dreams come true.
Such illnesses include (but are not limited to) cancer, cystic fibrosis, cerebral palsy and
muscular dystrophy.
There are many parts of the community that deal with what these children "need"; our society
focuses on what these children "want". Through a series off un-biased and objective
interviews with these children, we aim to understand the child's most desired dream, and
work on finding a way to make it come true.
Up to today, Dreams Society has fulfilled dreams for over 50 children, some of whom have
passed away, yet the families are still appreciative of the last few happy moments Dreams
Society helped in creating. These dreams would not be a reality without the help of our
generous donors and sponsors. With the support of the members, volunteers, and the community
as a whole, we continue to grant as many dreams as we can. For more information on some of

Eman Nooruddin
Eman Nooruddin
Eman Nooruddin is a licensed (UK and Canada) psychotherapist and Founder and Chairman of the Board of Dreams Society.
Ms. Nooruddin specializes in trauma, grief, chronic or terminal illnesses, bereavement, and anxiety.
Ms. Nooruddin holds an undergraduate degree (BSc), from George Washington Universitysince 2005. She later received her postgraduate diploma in hypnotherapy, psychotherapy and counseling. She is also certified in cognitive behavior therapy (USA), NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming)(USA), Satir family therapy (Canada) and medical therapy (USA).
She is also on the National Registry for Psychotherapist and Counselors in the UK and has worked with many NGO's such as Women Crisis Counselors International (WCCI, NY).
Furthermore, Ms. Nooruddin is a partner in Capital Knowledge-Institute of Finance, and is also involved in the design and delivery of various self-development courses, such as Stress Management, Service Excellence, Brain Training & Mind Mapping and Emotional Intelligence to various companies in Bahrain, UAE and Kuwait.
She has been using many of her acquired expertise to provide counseling, coaching and learning skills to the students at Capital Knowledge.
Aysha Fakhro

Aysha Abdulaziz Fakhro currently works as a Superintendent-Portfolio Management Officer at the Central Bank of Bahrain. Ms. Fakhro has joined Dreams Society in 2012 as a member and became a Vice Chairman of the Board later that same year. In addition she holds the Treasurer position in several charities in Bahrain such as New Dawn Society and in the Young Ladies Committee at the Aisha Yateem Family Council Center for Battered Women. Prior to joining the Central Bank of Bahrain, Ms. Fakhro worked at BNP Paribas in the Regional Investment Operations. Aysha holds a Bachelors of Business Administration with a concentration in Banking and Finance from the American University of Beirut. Ms. Fakhro has also acquired her Investment Representative Certificate (Series 7) in 2013.

Husain currently works as a Senior Manager on the Investments team at Al Rajhi Holdings Bahrain. Prior to joining Al Rajhi Holdings in 2008, Husain was on Ernst & Youngís Transaction Advisory Services team. He has over 8 years of experience working on various assignments, including (but not limited to): private equity (various industries) and real estate deal origination, structuring and post-acquisition management (across various geographies); debt and equity capital raising; debt restructuring; listed equities analysis regionally and globally; financial modeling, due diligence, feasibility studies, review of debt and legal agreements, and investment analysis.
Husain also has a wealth of experience in the non-profit sector. Besides being the Treasurer of Dreams Society since 2012, Husain assisted in starting another charity in Bahrain, was a member of the development committee in Firefly Autism school in Denver, CO, was a consultant during the set-up stages of Together with the Children in Denver, CO, and worked with several charities globally including (but not limited to): UNICEF (Bahrain), Roteract (Bahrain), Saudi-Bahraini Institute for the Blind (Bahrain), Project CURE (Denver, CO), and Food Bank of the Rockies (Denver, CO).
Husain is a Fulbright Scholar and holds an MBA with a concentration in Non-Profit Management, a Masters of Science in Finance, and a Bachelorís degree with a double major in Finance and Statistics from the University of Denver, CO, USA. He is also a Certified Financial Modeler (IABFM).
Dr. Heba Abdulwahab

Apart from being a loving and caring mother of three, Dr Heba Abdulwahab is a Consultant Dermatologist and Co-Owner of Dermacare Bahrain, one of the Kingdom's leading Dermatology & Laser Centres.
Dr Heba is distinct graduate of Arabian Gulf University and received the highest merit award for topping her class.
Before Dermacare, Dr Heba was part of the Ministry of Health as she worked as a Specialist Dermatologist in Salmaniya Medical Centre - Bahrain's largest Medical & Training Hospital. During the period she served with the Ministry, Dr Heba managed to graduate the Arab Board Exams with the highest rank for the two independent exams despite her young age and humble practical experience.

Dr Hala Abdulwahab is a Consultant Dermatologist and Co-founder of Dermacare Bahrain, that stands today as one of the Kingdom's exclusive Dermatology & Laser Centres.
Before establishing Dermacare, Dr Hala worked at the Ministry of Health as a Specialist Dermatoligist in Salmaniya Medical Centre, which remains till date Bahrain's prominent hospital. Throughout her professional career, Dr Hala assisted in teaching and training medical interns as well as sharing her medical experience with young school students.
Dr Hala achieved excellence at University of Wales where she graduated her Masters with distinction before she continued her education path towards both parts of the Arab Board Exams.
Apart from her medical profession, Dr Hala remains a social whiz and enjoys public speaking in numerous media events.

Jordana Semaan, a Bahraini, born and raised in Bahrain with a cultural cocktail of Lebanese, British and Iraqi heritage is currently the General Manager -Human Resources at APM Terminals. Her career has spanned the last 14 years encompassing working in different fields and markets that has allowed her to develop both her leadership style as well as have a multi skill set when it comes to work. Her strength in people skills over the years has led her to direct her career to Human Resources where her emphasis is on change management.
Member of the senior management team of APM Terminals -Khalifa Bin Salman Port, with extensive experience in HR and Administration since
2017. Her previous experience is in multiple roles across the gamut of management services including
sales, marketing, PR, across businesses in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia.

Latifa is the Legal Director and Corporate Secretary of Zain Bahrain BSC. Zain is a leading telecommunications operator in the Kingdom of Bahrain where she was part of the company team heading its Initial Public Offering (IPO) process and the listing on the Bahrain Bourse. The company was the first to offer its shares to the public in Bahrain since 2010, which was a milestone not only for the company but for the country as well.
Heading the legal department, she provides legal support to the companyís Board, Senior Management, its business and operations including provision of legal framework for drawing and implementing the companyís strategy.
Prior to joining Zain Bahrain, she was a senior associate at Zuíbi & Partners Attorneys & Legal Consultants where her legal practice has been a broad based banking, finance, commercial and corporate. She has acted for financial institutions and companies (local and international), the Government of Bahrain and HNI on a wide range of banking and financial matters including mergers & acquisitions; capital markets and investment funds with a focus on marketing, private placement and public offerings of shares, funds, bonds and other securities in Bahrain. She also represented the firm on the Board of Directors of the American Chamber of Commerce in Bahrain.
Latifa was chosen to be one of a two member team from Bahrain that participated in the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) entitled Women as Economic and Business Leaders which was sponsored by the United States Department of State. This was a three weeks exchange program where participants from all over the world were selected by U.S. Embassies and travelled to various states in the U.S. to meet and confer with their professional counterparts. The IVLP is one the U.S. Governmentís most prestigious professional exchange programs with foreign opinion leaders.
Latifa is a qualified Bahraini lawyer and holds an LLB (Bachelor of Laws) and an LLM (Master of Laws) from the United Kingdom.
She has also worked with other non-profit organizations in Bahrain namely the Palms Association and Think Pink.

Mariam Turki is a banker, an experienced entrepreneur and one of Dreams Societyís initial founders.
After graduating from Portobello College Ireland, she started her career at BNP Paribas, and has been there ever since. As an entrepreneur, she founded the first open air digital photo booth in Bahrain, Elephant Photo booth.
Her passion and love for kids led her to be one of the founders of Dreams Society, where she continues to contribute to society by continuing to make dreams come true for children with terminal illnesses and debilitating diseases.

Managing Director
Ms. Mashael Fairooz is the founder and Managing Director of JEO. Prior to that Ms. Fairooz was the Regional Director at Beacon Capital Management an investment boutique firm based in the UK. She joined Bank Alkhair (formerly Unicorn Investment Bank) as a Regional Director for 3 years. She also worked with Addax Investment Bank, Century 21 & LPIC (UK). Mashael is a BA graduate at Hult International Business School in London UK.

Sara Khalil Nooruddin currently works as a senior research analyst in Private Equity, Infrastructure and Hedge Fund at Osool Asset Management. Ms. Nooruddin also teaches CFA level 1 and 2 at Capital Knowledge, Bahrain. Prior to joining, Ms. Nooruddin worked as a Private equity Analyst at Gulf International Bank. Sara Nooruddin is a Founding Board Member and current Board Member of Dreams Society, Bahrain. Ms. Nooruddin holds a B.B.A with a concentration in Finance from George Washington University, and is a C.F.A. Charterholder. Ms. Nooruddin is Board Member in Royal Maternity Hospital, Bahrain.

Nada Tarradah has over ten years of retail banking experience and is currently the Head of Retail Liabilities, Al Wajaha and Other Fees at BBK.
She is an alumni of the Humphrey Fellowship program at Boston University sponsored by the US Department of State’s Fulbright scholarship program. During her fellowship she worked at Brookline Bancorp and the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston.
She was also an Assistant National Leader in the 25th Ship for World Youth Program , an exchange program sponsored by the Cabinet Government of Japan.
Nada holds a Masters of Business Administration from DePaul University a Bachelor’s in Industrial Relations & Human Resource management from The University of Kent and a Project Managment Graduate Certificate from Boston University.
